Gokce Hotel

The Gokce Hotel, Turunc, Turkey is set in a beautiful part of Turunc, surrounded totally by palm trees, olive groves and gardens in a peaceful location. The crescent of mountains behind the hotel encircle the property and its field of fresh sweetcorn, cradling the property in lush, natural surroundings. The hotel is family run and named after owner Mehmet Gokce. You’ll often spot Mehmet tending to his crops and flower beds rather than involved in the day-to-day running of the hotel which he leaves to his daughter, Nurcan, who is really kind, helpful and friendly and whose English is excellent.

The Main Street of Turunc is only a 5 minute walk from the Gokce Hotel, the beach approximately 8 minutes. The Gokce Hotel itself has a good-sized swimming pool located at the front of the accommodation with ample room for its sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. The varnished wood restaurant and poolside bar are to each side of the pool, helping the hotel look attractive and welcoming.

Single, twin and double rooms are available, a few of which will take an extra bed. All rooms have air-conditioning units installed (payable locally), en-suite bathroom with shower & WC and a balcony. A safety deposit box facility is available for a small local charge and board is offered on a Bed & Turkish Breakfast basis. The Gokce is a lovely, friendly hotel and is ideal for total relaxation but still within easy reach of everything – highly recommended.
