Ocakkoy

Peaceful, relaxing, friendly, unique are some of the words to describe the Ocakkoy. Located at the very top of Ovacikthis unique collection of stone cottages is nestled in the pine forest and is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides and overlooks the town of Hisaronu across the valley below and the famous Olu Deniz beach is 15-minutes drive away.

The eco-friendly Ocakkoy consists of old Turkish style cottages as well as studio apartments are connected by narrow paths shaded by olive trees and leading to the center of village with bars and an a’la carte restaurant. The village has 3 swimming pools including 2 adult only pools and a family pool with a whirlpool tub and a children’s pool. There are also a mini market, library, TV room, table tennis and children’s playground on site.

Lovingly restored each cottage is unique, their varying shapes and sizes alive with character and history. In each cottage you fill find a traditionally furnished interior including a small, fully equipped kitchen, an open fireplace keeping the houses cool for longer in summertime and warm in winter. Should it still get too hot for you air-conditioning will provide a pleasant room temperature. Outside, the private terrace area has a large table and four chairs, set under an old timber with grapevines covering as well as wall flowers.
