Port El Kantaoui
Port El Kantaoui is a purpose built resort in an architectural combination of Turkish, Arabian and Andalucian styles. It has its own distinctive atmosphere and charm with cobbled alleys and garden squares.
Extending outwards from the marina are the resort's golden sandy beaches, many of which border the hotels. Traffic is not allowed in the port so you can wander freely around the small boutiques, sample the choice of restaurants or just sit outside one of the waterfront cafés and watch the world go by. Whilst those looking for a little action after dark should try the Red Iguana club
The Kantaoui and Sousse region have excellent sports facilities including tennis and water sports. Golfers are well catered for with the superb El Kantaoui golf course and two 18-hole courses at Monastir just 20km away.
This is a great location from which to explore either by land or sea. The resort of Sousse is a short taxi ride away, whilst further afield there are some great desert excursions and trips to Tunis, Kairouan and El Djem. From the port scuba diving is available.

Sousse
Sousse is Tunisia's third largest city and is a vibrant, colourful resort with many places of local and historical interest. The long white sandy beach offers a good selection of water sports and along the Route de la Corniche which runs parallel to the beach there are numerous restaurants, pizzerias and café bars. The Medina or old town is encompassed by the modern city with its thriving port, shops and restaurants.
