The superb golden sandy beach offers a good choice of watersports and runs the length of Alcudia Bay making it the longest stretch of beach on the island. Those looking for a little more traditional appeal can take one of the regular buses to the Alcudia’s Old town, with its city walls and twice weekly market. This is one of the island's oldest settlements with parts of the town dating back to the 14th century.
