Whispering Palms Beach Resort

Whispering Palms, Candolim, Goa has been a popular choice with British guests for many years due to its superb location a couple minutes walk to the beach at Candolim at the quieter Sinquerim end and with many shops and restaurants close by.

The Whispering Palms is a modern and bright hotel which provides comfortable accommodation with a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are in two storey blocks set around the large kidney shaped pool with children’s section and sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is a main restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, an a la carte restaurant ‘Aahaata’ serving Indian cuisine, poolside snack bar and coffee shop as well as a pub. The 24-hour reception provides money exchange and there is also a souvenir, handicraft and jewellery shop. Other facilities include bicycle hire, darts, pool table, table tennis, badminton, gym and whirlpool. The Whispering Palms also organises daily activities and evening entertainment.

The rooms have double or twin beds and can also take an extra bed. All have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, and en-suite SH&WC and balcony or terrace. Deluxe rooms have the same facilities and are more spacious but do not have a balcony or terrace. Classic rooms are modern and spacious and can accommodate up to 3 guests.

Christmas and New Year festive meals are also included.

• Dinner at the Aahaata a la carte restaurant once for a 7 night stay and 3 times for a 14 night stay (excluding tiger prawns, pomfret and shellfish)
• Snacks available 10.30-13.00 at Sun & Palms and 15.00-23.00 at the poolside (ice cream is available on the lunch or dinner buffet)
• Unlimited locally produced alcoholic drinks including bottled beer, bottled water and soft drinks (excluding international brands and premium wine, which can be purchased at an extra charge) between 11.00-23.00 at selected venues.
• Activities including table tennis, badminton, pool, darts, bicycles, gym, football, volleyball and waterpolo between 11.00 – 17.00 (A minimum age restriction of 14 years applies to some facilities).
• Various competitions and games during the day 11.00-17.00
• Evening entertainment including live music daily, theme nights once per week and management cocktails once per week
