Riverside Regency

The Riverside Regency, Arpora, Goa enjoys a fabulous location adjacent to the bank of Baga River. Now that the new bridge has been completed it’s a 500m walk to the top end of Baga Beach with all its bars and restaurants. You can also walk the short distance along the river and when it is low tide you can cross to the other side, past the fishermen’s nets. This part of the beach is filled with bars and beach shacks, each with their own section of sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. The Riverside Regency is a family run hotel which belongs to Savio who is also the owner of the popular Riverside guesthouse on the opposite side of the river. For those who may want to avoid the crowded beach, the Riverside Regency has two swimming pools and children’s section with sunbeds provided on the surrounding terrace area. Meals and drinks are available all day from the lovely multi-cuisine restaurant, which also offers seafood grills.

The simply furnished twin-bedded rooms have a ceiling fan, en-suite SH&WC and balcony or terrace. Twenty of the rooms have air-conditioning, which is subject to availability and payable locally. The Riverside Regency is a great choice for those seeking simple style accommodation in a tranquil and rural setting yet close to the happening resort of Baga and is highly recommended.
