El Gouna Holidays
El Gouna holidays are in an up and coming resort covering a multitude of islands approximately 22km north of Hurghada. The landscape is desert on the long, straight road connecting the two resorts, with the chain of Red Sea mountains to the west and the lagoons, reefs and sea to the east. El Gouna caters for its guests informatively and to a high standard in their El Gouna hotels. Centrally located is Kafr El Gouna village (downtown) with a good information centre, bank, ATM machine, international telephones, cafes, restaurants and bus station with a regular return service to Hurghada. A varied range of activities and facilities are also available on the islands, which are linked to each other by bridges. These include an 18-hole golf course, go-karting, casino, open-air cinema, nightclubs, museum, post office and an aquarium. Holidays in El Gouna are a fantastic little retreat and offer something to suit all tastes.
