The Elysium features a wide range of restaurants and bars to meet the most demanding tastes. There are four restaurants located within the hotel offering a great variety of dishes. Epicurean restaurant with a la carte dining and theme nights, Ristorante Bacco with its extensive wine list and glass fronted fine wine storage cellar, Mediterraneo Taverna beachside restaurant (seasonal) popular for meze, pasta and fresh fish, Lemonia Piazza Restaurant, resembling a village square and offering Al Fresco dining with children’s menus, overlooking water fountains and cascades. The Oriental Sushi Bar serves a variety of drinks and sushi delicacies, Café Occidental in the heart of the resort enjoys dramatic views of the sea to the west and of the vast atrium with its floor mosaics, urns, buttresses and massive timber roof to the east, Mare Nostrum pool bar & wet bar and Bar Astria, the perfect place to meet at night where intimate seating allows for privacy while two external pergola covered terraces offer additional seating overlooking the Lethe Spring which is lit up at night.

There is an enormous multilevel pool with hyrdro-massage and for the more energetic there are two floodlit tennis courts and a variety of water sports nearby. Scuba diving courses are also on offer as well as a high tech gym and aerobic studio. If relaxation and pampering are on the agenda, the Opium Health Spa with ESPA treatments, sauna, steam room, indoor heated pool, hydro pool and hair and beauty salon, offers all you need to indulge yourself. The amusement centre has a snooker table, library and multimedia room and the Orpheus amphitheatre accommodates shows, live performances and chess. Children’s facilities include an indoor club and amusement centre as well as a shaded outdoor pool with a waterslide and playground. The resort even has it’s own Byzantine chapel which can be used for wedding ceremonies with up to 25 people inside.

Accommodation at the Elysium

All types of accommodation are furnished and equipped to the highest possible standard. Facilities include balcony or terrace, direct dial telephone, colour satellite TV and pay TV, hair dryer, mini bar, safe deposit box, magnifying mirror and individually controlled heating or air-conditioning. The deluxe rooms are accommodated in the central palace, the Cyprian masionettes have a double height sitting room overlooked by a mezzanine sleeping gallery, separate shower room and walk-in wardrobe, the Royal studios offer greater luxury and space than the deluxe rooms and are set apart from the main building. The first floor studios have views to the sea and the ground floor studios have a private garden with plunge pool. The Royal Garden Villas are also set apart from the main building, have private gardens and plunge pools and inside have mezzanine sleeping areas.
